Pedagogical English Grammar
For teachers both new and experienced, one of the most challenging tasks is often the teaching of grammar. In this course, I work with student-teachers to build on and enhance your knowledge primarily of American English grammar. The goal is to equip student-teachers with tools for approaching the teaching of grammar in the second language classroom.
Now as is always the case in this type of course, some students come with an already solid grammar knowledge base and others may never have studied the English grammar formally.
Whatever the student's starting point is, I’m ready to help!
Of course, it’d be impossible to know everything there is to learn in the English grammar, in just a few short weeks. Every time I teach a course like this, I learn something new, too!
So another goal I have for the course, is for both the students and I to walk away with tools, and hopefully the inspiration, to continue our study of grammar, beyond this course.

I integrate technology in my teaching and an example of that is the Padlet in which the students shared their group work with the class during a synchronous class.
